About the Show
Less Than Perfect is a contemporary new musical written about teens, by teens, for teens. The show is a coming of age, high school romance about two best friends who, along with their friends, are trying to figure out who they are and where they belong without compromising either of the two.
The show centers around a queer relationship with the goal of normalizing LGBTQ+ characters and their stories. Much of today's current queer media uses "being gay" as a point of conflict or problem the characters work to overcome, but Less Than Perfect hopes to showcase real, authentic teen characters... who just so happen to be gay.
